Applebee's
In 2010, Applebee’s came out with a new fresh look—one quite different from the striped awnings and exposed neon that had been around for a couple of decades. With over 2,000 functioning nationwide locations open 7 days a week, a full renovation could have meant a significant loss of revenue for this neighborhood dining chain. Through creative, out-of-the-box thinking, and close work with Apple America and their chosen General Contractors, Hilton Displays accepted the challenge to tackle a complete renovation in 2 ½ days. Detailed planning, preparatory permitting, and manufacturing begin months in advance but to the customer, this “new look” may appear to have happened overnight. The complete rebranding package and scope of work for each location includes an eyebrow canopy, roof tower structure, illuminated and branded awnings, internally illuminated LED can letters, welcome signage, and a fresh new monument sign. It’s a feeling of accomplishment we’re left with knowing a site will be ready to reopen for Wednesday lunch and our partnership with Applebee’s seems to be a perfect match!
